Here Comes the Bride…

No, I’m not getting married (don’t worry) but I do have exciting news to share! Back in December, I had written about my wedding experience assisting Nicole from Down the Aisle on a gorgeous wedding back in September. I had such a great time that I reached out to Nicole last month about the possibility of working together again for this upcoming season. One thing led to another and I’m now the new Associate Wedding Coordinator at Down the Aisle!

I know a few people I’ve talked to were confused on the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator so here’s a little something something on the role of a wedding coordinator:

A wedding coordinator is someone who steps into the planning process about a month before the big day. They work to take the stress off of the soon-to-be wed couple by re-confirming with vendors, developing a detailed timeline of the day and helping finalize any last-minute details. Then, on the big day, they are there from the beginning of the set-up to the end. They make sure that everything goes according to schedule, trouble-shoot and generally work to ensure that the bride’s and groom’s vision of their big day goes off perfectly. A wedding coordinator is perfect for couples that would like to be in full control of their wedding planning but need someone to execute the plans the day of. Instead of relying on an aunt, cousin or friend, a wedding coordinator will take care of everything which lets everyone relax and able to celebrate the happy occasion.

I am beyond excited at this amazing opportunity. SO… (WARNING: shameless plug ahead), if you or someone you know could use a wedding coordinator this year, I’d love to meet with you and see if this would be a good fit!

Looking forward to sharing all things glamorous, bridal and beautiful in the coming months!

Priscilla

(I know I’ve been MIA the last month… I’ll post something soon about why apples had something to do with that.)
