Having only joined Down the Aisle as an Associate Wedding Coordinator in February, I was a little apprehensive about my first wedding season and whether or not I was cut out for this job.
After 1 full season, I can honestly say that being a Wedding Coordinator is a TON of fun! Sure, you work long days where you’re on your feet (for all of it) and deal with some extremely anxious brides and grooms but you also get to be part of a beautiful thing – two people deeply in love committing their lives to one another in front of their friends and family. What’s not to love?!
My weddings this summer took me to Brix a number of times (love this venue!), Bridges on Granville Island, Brock House, New Westminster Quay Inn, Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club, Queen Elizabeth Park and Shangri-La Hotel.
I learned a lot about all the little details that make each wedding unique and special (which I’ve posted here) but thought I would share just a few photos I snapped along with the more beautiful (and professional) ones that the talented photographers I got to work with took.
